As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions to address complex business and technical challenges within the storage product domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and deliver products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and remediate recurring issues to improve operational stability and efficiency.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Lead technical sessions with internal teams and external vendors to assess architectural designs and technical solutions for integration.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced in one or more programming language(s) including Python, RabbitMQ, Cockerroach, React, Django, FastAPI, Flask, Django, and AWS
  • Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
  • Practical cloud native experience
