As a Commercial Product Director in the Kinexys Digital Assets team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Kinexys by J.P.Morgan is the firm's blockchain-focused business unit, delivering transformative financial infrastructure and products for our institutional and corporate clients. 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Take ownership of globally responsibility for relationship between Kinexys Digital Assets and JPMorgan Securities Services, including ownership of joint product initiatives, external client and industry engagement and providing market insight and strategic direction to internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with JPMorgan Securities Services, develop segment strategy for Global Asset Managers and Asset Owners in relation to digital assets, digital payments and tokenisation.
  • Promote growth by seeking new business opportunities with industry leaders, maintaining a strategic pipeline, and providing insights to Kinexys and Securities Services leadership.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal teams to enhance understanding and engagement with digital asset offerings, supporting client interactions across financial services related to tokenized assets.
  • Identify new business opportunities by staying informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments in digital asset ecosystems and develop business cases for incremental investment.
  • Collaborate with product delivery teams to develop blockchain solutions, ensuring alignment to client needs and commercial viability.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to identify trends and maintain Kinexys’ leadership in digital asset services.
  • Create marketing materials that highlight the benefits of traditional services applied to digital assets, supporting platform expansion and application enhancement.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives exploring public blockchain infrastructure for client solutions, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in digital asset engagements.
  • Partner with legal, compliance and other internal stakeholders to ensure products are compliant and commercially viable.
  • Own client contracting and commerical negotiations.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

·

         
Essential - Deep understanding of digital assets, blockchain, and related applications, including technical knowledge of custody, securities, and funds.  

·

         Extensive experience in securities services or working with providers, with a strong understanding of the complexities and regulatory requirements of post-trade servicing, custody, collateral and/or fund services. 

·

         Interest in tokenization, digital assets and the potential impact on traditional financial market practices. 

·

         Experience in building technology platforms or delivering complex solutions that integrate traditional and emerging technologies.

·

         Strong focus on execution and attention to detail, managing multiple client relationships and initiatives.

  • Focus on risk management and regulatory compliance. 

    ·

             Excellent communication skills and executive presence, capable of presenting complex concepts to senior executives and clients.

    ·

             Ability to work independently and identify new business opportunities in a dynamic environment.

    ·

             Comfortable presenting strategies to senior management and clients, and working with both fintech startups and traditional institutions.

    ·

           Bachelor's degree and significant experience in business development, sales, or financial services, with a focus on digital assets or emerging technologies.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

·

         Knowledge of regulations governing digital assets and compliance frameworks.

·

         Experience in complex financial institutions with multiple business lines and regulatory oversight.

·

         Experience in building platform business models in financial services.

·

         Experience with tokenization of traditional financial products on blockchain a plus

·

         Experience in ecosystem development and facilitating partnerships between traditional and digital asset innovators.
