Within the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, the Cross Asset Solutions team of specialists works seamlessly with Private Bank and Wealth Management advisors, strategists, and our cross-asset trading partners to help our clients assess market dynamics to identify and structure products and access markets for investment and risk management goals. Within our U.S. Cross Asset Derivative Solutions trading business, we are looking for A Vice President to coordinate and develop structured investment conversations and distribution across our U.S. advisor platform. Were looking for someone with deep understanding and background of structured investments, strong client relationships, and an ability to coordinate across a team in a fast paced, trading floor environment.
Job responsibilities
- Lead conversations and presentations with advisors and clients as a subject matter expert across structured investments.
- Provide thought leadership, education, and technical expertise/analysis across our structured investments platform to increase advisor penetration, understanding and adoption.
- Act as a trusted partner to financial advisors, translating broader platform investment strategy with complex derivatives concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Help develop and execute a commercial sales strategy to drive scalable adoption of structured investments in a portfolio context.
- Leverage data analysis across activity and asset composition to target opportunities for continued growth of the platform.
- Work closely with risk, legal, compliance, trading, and operations to ensure strategies are executed within firm and regulatory frameworks.
- Provide feedback into product development, platform and digital enhancements, and governance related to derivatives usage.
- Support senior leadership with insights on trends, usage metrics, and growth opportunities.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 7+ years of experience in derivatives, options, structured products, or capital marketsrelated roles
- Strong technical background in structured investments pricing, payoff analysis, risk management, and portfolio construction
- Experience working directly with advisors, portfolio managers, or client-facing teams in a consultative capacity
- Demonstrated ability to bridge technical expertise with commercial outcomes
- Bachelors degree required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (mandatory to obtain within 120 days)
- Familiarity with managed accounts, model portfolios, or overlay strategies strongly preferred
