Job Summary
As an Executive Director in our Diversified Industries group, you will be a senior leader responsible for driving business strategy, client relationships, and transaction execution across a broad range of investment banking products. You will oversee the full cycle of deal origination and execution, lead teams in delivering high-impact solutions, and play a critical role in developing and mentoring talent. You will join a global team, collaborating with colleagues across regions, and will be provided opportunities to lead complex transactions and strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Originate, lead, and execute complex M&A, capital markets, and financing transactions for corporate and institutional clients.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining long-term relationships and providing strategic advice on business opportunities and challenges.
- Oversee and guide the preparation of marketing pitches, financial analyses, internal committee memoranda, and client presentations, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Lead and review detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analyses, as well as combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations.
- Manage and mentor teams of Associates and Analysts, providing leadership, supervision, and guidance to develop talent and ensure effective execution.
- Drive business development efforts, identifying new client opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with senior bankers, product specialists, and other internal/external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in recruiting, training, and talent development initiatives for the group.
- Ensure rigorous risk management and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Extensive prior work experience in an investment banking front office role, with a proven track record of deal origination and execution.
- Strong academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
- Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and team management skills.
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring.
- Impeccable communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders across the business.
- Strategic mindset, execution-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
- High level of motivation, self-direction, and adaptability.
- Excellent understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks.
