As an Associate in the Client Service Team, you will be the primary point of contact for service-related needs of Private Bank clients. Working as part of an integrated team, you will support Bankers and Investors by partnering with product specialists and operations to deliver a seamless, end-to-end client experience across the full suite of Private Bank products.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for external clients and internal partners for day-to-day account administration and servicing.
- Provide proactive, personalized support for transaction processing, including deposits, loans, asset transfers, cash product execution, cash flow management, corporate actions, servicing inquiries, and investigation handling.
- Support account maintenance requests (e.g., change of contact details, changes to company and/or account structure) and ensure required documentation is completed in accordance with the Banks standards.
- Proactively engage clients to support digital adoption.
- Support Bankers in credit facility execution; handle ad hoc client requests, troubleshooting, and help drive remediation and/or client campaigns as required.
- Drive process improvements and strategic change initiatives to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum 7 years experience in client service and/or relationship management support within private banking.
- Must be HKMA-registered (for an Authorized Institution) to conduct SFC Regulated Activities Type 1, Type 4 and Type 9.
- Strong working knowledge of private banking products and related operational processes, including cash management, KYC documentation review, corporate actions, and banking products.
- Strong risk and controls mindset, with high sensitivity to Private Banking control standards, particularly relating to money transfers, securities transfers, credit, and transactional services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and deepen client relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients; able to resolve inquiries and troubleshoot independently.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork, adaptability, and ability to multitask under pressure.
