Full Job Description
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada
As a Hardware Supply Chain Management Senior Associate within our finance organization, you promote day-to-day supply chain execution and lead cross-functional improvement projects. Youll own supply plans, supplier coordination, inventory health, and logistics while managing initiatives that strengthen service, reduce cost-to-serve, and improve controls. The role requires close alignment with Finance/FP&A, adherence to internal controls (e.g., SOX), and effective stakeholder management across Procurement, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Operations
- Own end-to-end supply planning for assigned categories/SKUs (e.g., technology hardware, ATM/branch parts, cards, print materials), balancing service, cost, and inventory targets.
- Execute and refine MRP/DRP parameters (lead times, MOQ, safety stock, reorder points) in ERP/APS tools.
- Partner with Procurement and Suppliers on capacity, lead-time commits, and risk mitigation; drive shortage recovery.
- Monitor and manage inventory health (turns, aging, excess & obsolete) with corrective actions to hit targets.
- Track service performance (OTIF, fill rate, backorders) and lead root-cause analysis with corrective action plans.
- Coordinate logistics and fulfillment with 3PLs and internal DCs to reduce cycle times and exceptions.
- Support S&OP/SIOP routines; ensure supply plans align with demand, financial plans, and control requirements.
- Supply Chain Project Management
- Lead cross-functional projects (parameter resets, supplier transitions, NPI ramps, network redesigns, tool upgrades).
- Build project charters, timelines, RAID logs, and stakeholder communications; track milestones and budgets.
- Drive change management and adoption of new processes/tools; document SOPs and train end users.
- Develop business cases with quantified benefits (service, working capital, cost-to-serve, productivity).
- Implement KPIs and dashboards; establish control plans and governance to sustain outcomes.
- Data, Controls & Finance Alignment
- Translate business questions into data queries; develop repeatable reporting using ERP/APS and BI tools.
- Perform scenario modeling for supply, inventory, and capacity decisions; quantify financial impact.
- Ensure master data accuracy and governance for planning-relevant attributes.
- Uphold internal controls (e.g., SOX) and partner with Finance on inventory valuation, write-offs, and reconciliation.
- Risk & Compliance
- Identify supply risks (single sourcing, geo exposure, quality, logistics) and maintain mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, and Vendor Management for regulated third-party engagements.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field; Masters/MBA a plus.
Required: 3+ years of hands-on experience with inventory management tools/modules, such as:
SAP (MM/IM, PP, APO/IBP), NetSuite Inventory, Oracle Fusion SCM/Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Supply Chain), or similar.
- Experience with analytics/BI tools (advanced Excel/Google Sheets; Power BI/Tableau; SQL is a plus).
- Proficient in MS Office, Access, and SharePoint Development, etc.
- Experience with project tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence).
- Certifications preferred: APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP/Prince2, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Track record delivering measurable improvements in service, inventory, cost, and controls/compliance.
- Travel: up to 25%, including supplier or DC visits as needed
