Explore this exciting opportunity in the newly established Deal Services Billing Team!

As an Global Investment Banking Deal Services Billing Analyst/Associate in Deal Services Billing Team, you will manage billing and invoicing activities related to all Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) transactions. You will be instrumental in driving the implementation of our new operating model, where you will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gather and confirm deal/legal documents and client payment instructions for compliance checks.
  • Manage legal billing by liaising with law firms, creating expense estimates, and securing invoice approvals.
  • Coordinate vendor billing by identifying expenses and obtaining invoices from third-party vendors.
  • Create and review invoices, ensuring KYC checks, tax treatment, and secure sign-offs from relevant parties, including the Deal team.
  • Engage with clients and vendors, handling billing queries and maintaining accurate contact information.
  • Collaborate with Middle Office teams to ensure timely fund transfers and invoice processing.
  • Track and manage outstanding receivables, liaising with clients and bankers for timely recovery.
  • Address unbilled expenses, enforcing SLAs and reporting to Deal Team Leaders and Business Heads.
  • Monitor funds flow, reconciling incoming funds with receivables and triggering refunds as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between Product Control, Bankers, Clients, and stakeholders, managing the billing system and prioritizing technology enhancements.
