Full Job Description
Location: Shanghai, China

As a Relationship Manager Analyst in Global Corporate Banking Mid Cap team, you will be responsible for providing supports to deal teams and accountability from pitch book preparation to transaction execution, while ensuring seamless coordination among deal team members, product partners, and internal stakeholders. As a member of the team, you will play an integral part in helping bankers to onboard, manage and develop client relationships. The team is responsible for managing relationships with China-headquartered companies focusing on clients with global operation and growth aspiration. Our team provides both traditional Corporate Banking products and Investment Banking products to our clients. You will work closely with various lines of business on client coverage efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Corporate Bankers to help generate new revenue opportunities either from prospects or existing clients
- Assist Corporate Bankers to arrange and track marketing activities, and keep business pipelines in an updated and systematic manner
- Lead and collaborate with different product partners during deal execution including client onboarding, structuring credit requests, and documentation negotiation
- Provide support around capital markets and other investment banking activities like capital structure analysis and create financial models
- Provide support to Corporate Bankers to comply with internal risk management including but not limit to reputation risk, AML risk, environmental and social risk
- Develop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings including but not limited to M&A advisory, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Treasury Services, Credit and Risk Management
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economic, or other related fields
- Solid credit, accounting, and financial knowledge.
- Excellent problem solving, oral and written communication skills; fluent English skills
- The ability to be a highly motivated, productive team player. Partnership skills are essential as work will often overlap with industry partners, product partners and investment banking teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive; strong credit, analytical, and modeling skills
- Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
- Commitment to personal growth and career development
- Superior Excel and Power Point skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Previous work experience, preferably in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or other related client-facing roles;
- Relevant Corporate Banking and/or Investment Banking experience with a strong corporate finance/credit background.
- Prior participation in a banking analyst training program.
