Job Summary

As a Fund Accounting Operations Lead within Fund Accounting (Outsourced NAV Delivery), you oversee accurate and timely NAV delivery for clients who outsource fund accounting to JPMorgan Chase. You lead end-to-end execution across pre-NAV activities, exception resolution, and client inquiries while ensuring appropriate escalation and issue management. You drive service quality, transformation, and a strong risk-and-control culture across the team.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Deliver timely and accurate NAVs for outsourced fund accounting clients.
  • Execute end-to-end pre-NAV activities and close processes with high quality.
  • Clear exceptions efficiently and ensure robust follow-through to resolution.
  • Manage client inquiries and stakeholder expectations with strong service orientation.
  • Escalate actual/potential delays and issues promptly to supervisors and management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for domain and process guidance within the team.
  • Act as the second escalation point and ensure disciplined incident management.
  • Lead hiring, coaching, mentoring, and retention to build a strong organization.
  • Strengthen risk and controls by enforcing procedures, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Partner with transformation and technology teams to identify change and ensure execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and consistency globally.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant Banking/Investment Banking Operations experience.
  • Lead teams with at least 8 years of people-management experience.
  • Apply deep fund accounting/NAV domain knowledge across end-to-end operating workflows.
  • Manage senior stakeholders to improve deliverables and client satisfaction outcomes.
  • Navigate complex, ambiguous situations and drive practical solutions to closure.
  • Embed a strong risk-and-control culture and continuously strengthen the controls environment.
  • Communicate effectively to share knowledge, transfer expertise, and align global teams.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Hold an MBA or Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Build sustainable relationships with institutional clients across jurisdictions and geographies.
  • Lead large transformation programs with exposure to banking or capital markets change delivery.
  • Assess business and financial impacts of Target Operating Model (TOM) changes.
  • Anticipate customer needs and industry trends to guide operational innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with business transformation partners to shape and execute change.
  • Motivate and develop staff through training, performance management, and supportive leadership.
