As an Applied AI Associate in our cross-functional team you will use your AI Engineering, data science and analytical skills to tackle complex problems across the Corporate Functions (including Risk, Finance, Compliance and Legal). You will collaborate closely with business and technology partners with responsibilities spanning the end-to-end delivery of business impact including data sourcing, exploratory data analysis, modelling, software design, implementation and cloud deployment. You’ll care about producing high-quality, maintainable software solutions and be keen to develop skills across a broad and evolving technology stack centered on Python, React, generative AI and AWS cloud infrastructure.
Job responsibilities:
- Working with colleagues to design, build and deploy impactful end-to-end AI solutions
- Engaging in research and development activities for new and existing AI products
- Engaging with stakeholders and understanding business requirements
- Contribute to AI and application governance processes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Undergraduate degree in a STEM subject such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Applied Mathematics or Statistics
- At least one year of industry or research experience applying AI techniques to solve real-world problem areas
- Familiarity with large language models and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph
- Strong Python programming fundamentals and awareness of the open-source ecosystem
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Experience in natural language processing (NLP) and its applications
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Postgraduate degree in a STEM discipline
