The Commercial Banking Payments Business Management team is responsible for executing and communicating business strategy within the Commercial Bank. As a Senior Associate Business Manager within the Commercial Bank, you will serve as the main liaison for the global treasury sales team and other strategic partners across the firm. This role provides an opportunity to grasp the basics of commercial banking and treasury services, collaborate with Treasury Management Officers to comprehend the client lifecycle across intricate portfolios, and offers a pathway to evolve in the Business Manager role, or other positions within Finance & Business Management. Additionally, you will work closely with leaders across the organization and the Treasury Services sales teams to facilitate the achievement of business outcomes.

As a Finance & Business Management Senior Associate in Commercial Banking Payments Business Management, you will conduct thorough data analyses, lead and execute a range of ad hoc projects, prepare materials and reporting for senior audiences, and improve processes to enhance team efficiency. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for the global treasury sales team and strategic partners, supporting the execution and communication of business strategy.
  • Conduct quantitative and logical analyses to support business decisions, process improvements, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and deliver routine and ad hoc business management reporting, leveraging data visualization and storytelling for senior audiences.
  • Lead and execute a range of ad hoc projects, including project management and analysis of sales/management reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and data for reporting leveraged by senior management and partners across the firm.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and drive innovative solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to evolving business needs.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial banking, business management, finance, strategy, or project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with a high degree of independence.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and logical thought processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and LLM prompting.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with Alteryx and Tableau is a strong plus.
