As an Associate in the Investment Management Oversight team, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective oversight of investment management activities. You will support performance analytics, due diligence, and regulatory reporting for a broad range of funds and mandates. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, contributing to a culture of transparency and integration. Your work will help deliver strong outcomes for clients and support the teams commitment to high standards.
Job responsibilities
Provide performance analytics and critical insights for quarterly oversight committees and board reporting, supporting meeting documentation, and coordinating materials for monthly ManCo and quarterly Board cycles.
Support of MiFID investment advice processes, guideline breach notifications to regulators, eligible market reviews, and regulatory reporting oversight (i.e. EMIR, SFTR).
Conduct initial and periodic due diligence on delegated portfolio managers, preparing high quality reports aligned to CSSF Circular 18/698, and administering delegate/sub delegate changes and yearly questionnaires.
Report to the Conducting Officer for Investment Management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelors and / or Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Experience in the asset management industry, with exposure to Alternative and/or UCITS investment funds performance analysis, ideally gained within a Management Company, Consultant, third-party Management Company or similar environments.
Experience and broad understanding of investing processes, styles and asset classes, as well as UCITS/AIFMD frameworks.
Practical knowledge of CSSF regulatory supervisory expectations and guidance, and expertise in the Luxembourg and pan-European financial supervisory regime / rules and related regulations including their practical application into internal framework and policies.
Motivated selfstarter with strong work ethic and a genuine interest in investments; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and crossfunctional teams and accustomed to dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Curious, outgoing communicator who can translate performance data and qualitative narratives into clear, actionable insights for governance audiences; demonstrates intellectual agility and a willingness to explore new areas.
Excellent (English) written and verbal communication and an ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts, and solutions at a level appropriate and intelligible to the recipient.
Ability to develop effective partnerships with key business partners, including Product Development, Investment Directors, Investment Specialists, Portfolio Managers as well as Compliance, Legal, Investment Risk and Operations; fosters a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Detailoriented, organized, and proactive; able to manage competing priorities and deliver on tight timelines in a team environment.
Advanced Excel skills (large datasets, pivots, formulas); ability to build and automate repeatable tasks / reporting.

CAIA/CFA certification (or in progress) is a plus. For candidates with a keen interest, support for CAIA/CFA study is available.
Python exposure is a plus.
