As Credit Derivatives Sales Middle Office Associate in the EMEA Credit Default Swap Client Services team, you will provide critical trade lifecycle support to clients trading Credit Default Swap products. You will work closely with front office sales, technology, reference data, and other middle and back office teams, as well as external custodians and clients. In this role, you will help us manage key client relationships and high-value trades, requiring exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, innovative approach. Together, we drive continuous improvement and deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Job responsibilities

  • Ensures operations are booked and allocated in a timely manner
  • Supports clients in their various queries
  • Performs numerous control reconciliations to verify positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliations
  • Investigates and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
  • Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
  • Process flow understanding, including ability to understand flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail. Accuracy is critical to eliminate financial risk and maintain a strong client relationship
  • A flexible, proactive attitude towards work is required as individual must be responsive with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, with a strong awareness of risk and control issues.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and think creatively is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver successfully

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Previous experience in Finance industry appreciated
