As a Credit Analyst, you will evaluate and manage credit requests for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. You will analyze financial statements, assess risk, and recommend solutions that meet client needs while maintaining the firm’s risk standards. Your expertise will help drive business growth and ensure prudent risk management. You will work closely with front office teams and contribute to process improvements and team development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate consumer and business credit requests using Credit Risk Policies and Guidelines.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and public information to assess client risk.
  • Calculate cash flow and balance sheet ratios to determine risk of default.
  • Assess collateral, loan covenants, and potential loss scenarios.
  • Identify and clearly articulate risks and mitigating factors for each credit request.
  • Recommend actions with clear, concise rationale.
  • Understand and communicate geo-political and jurisdictional risks for clients.
  • Collaborate with front office to gather information and negotiate loan terms.
  • Escalate credit issues and provide solutions to senior management.
  • Manage credit portfolios and ensure timely escalation of risk concerns.
  • Mentor less experienced analysts and support partners.

  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
