When someone joins the Corporate Development team, they accelerate their career by driving all phases of strategic acquisitions and investments at Chase.

As a Senior Associate on the Corporate Development team, you will be a member of a high-impact team responsible for accelerating and transforming Chase's business. You will support Chase’s strategic initiatives by identifying, evaluating and executing new transactions. This is a highly-visible position; you will work closely with our business leaders and cross-functional partners in Product, Operations, and Technology as well as various Legal, Risk, Control and Compliance teams.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation analyses for potential investments, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and investment memos for senior management and executive leadership
  • Support due diligence processes, including market research, competitive analysis and risk assessment
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functional teams to drive project execution
  • Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a field that shows a structured and organized approach to work. 
  • Proven project management skills to drive time-sensitive processes, a highly motivated work ethic, and deep curiosity.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with valuation techniques
  • Knowledge of M&A tools and databases (e.g., Pitchbook, Crunchbase, and CapIQ).
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business growth
  • Interest and experience in using AI tools to enhance their research and analysis.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in investment banking, corporate M&A, business development, strategy/financial consulting, private equity, and/or venture capital.
  • Track record of driving transactions and supporting growth through M&A, joint ventures, or investments.
