Advanced Treasury Analytics is part of the Corporate Investment Bank Treasury and provides innovative analytics and quantitative solutions to support Corporate Investment Bank Treasury management in making informed, strategic decisions. By leveraging advanced technology and quantitative expertise, Advanced Treasury Analytics plays a critical role in optimizing the the Corporate Investment Bank's liquidity, risk, and capital management.

As an Executive Director in the Advanced Treasury Analytics team, you will lead innovation by developing advanced solutions that modernize treasury, utilizing vast data sets and the latest analytical tools; build and inspire a high-performing team through recruitment, mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence; promote global impact by optimizing resources, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance in collaboration with teams worldwide; partner across functions with technology developers, quantitative experts, and business leaders to deliver scalable solutions across Markets, Banking, Payments, and Securities Services; and expand your expertise across multiple lines of business, making a tangible impact at the highest levels of the organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Advanced Treasury Analytics London team, cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of Advanced Treasury Analytics analytical toolset, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and accelerate the delivery of innovative solutions. 
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory developments, proactively adapting strategies to ensure compliance and drive business value. 
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders, delivering clear updates, timelines, and actionable insights.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Extensive experience with a strong quantitative background and a proven track record of leading technical teams in a global banking environment.
  • Deep product knowledge across Markets, with a passion for expanding your impact across new business lines.
  • Experienced in Treasury analytic roles or similar.
  • Expert in financial markets and instruments, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leader, committed to mentoring and developing talent.
  • Well-versed in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in Python programming and experienced with cloud-based platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Experience managing similar functions within a global banking environment.
  • Familiarity with advanced financial modeling and optimization tools.
  • Advanced degree such as an MSc in Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, or a PhD in a related field.
