As a Commodities Sales Analyst within the Institutional Commodities Sales team, you will work closely with trading, research, and eSales partners to provide comprehensive coverage for institutional clients. You will play a key role in executing commodity products, fulfilling client requests, and delivering timely market updates. Your work will help drive the success of our clients and contribute to the firm’s leadership in the commodities market. You will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, client focus, and professional development.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with trading, research, and eSales teams to deliver comprehensive client coverage
  • Execute day-to-day commodity product transactions for institutional clients
  • Fulfill client requests for market updates and assist with order execution
  • Provide clients with timely market intelligence and trade ideas
  • Apply analytical approaches to troubleshoot issues and resolve them with operations
  • Prioritize tasks across multiple stakeholder groups, considering market conditions and client needs
  • Meet with clients to discuss market activity and trading opportunities
  • Maintain high standards of organization and attention to detail in all client interactions
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
  • Perform under high-pressure situations with urgency and professionalism

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a macro or commodities sales role
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and communication skills
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform well under pressure with appropriate urgency

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience working with institutional investors in a financial services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Familiarity with commodity markets and trading strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
