Job summary:
As a Lead Security Engineer in Cybersecurity & Technology Controls, you will deliver secure software solutions that meet functional and user requirements while preventing misuse and malicious behavior. As a core technical contributor, you will carry out critical technology solutions using tamper-proof, audit-defensible methods across multiple technical areas. You will work with us to minimize vulnerabilities, conduct threat modeling, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security protocols. Job responsibilities

  • Execute creative security solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build and improve secure software.
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
  • Minimize security vulnerabilities by evolving security protocols and creating processes to assess control effectiveness.
  • Work with stakeholders and business leaders to understand security needs and recommend modifications during periods of vulnerability.
  • Conduct discovery, vulnerability, penetration testing, and threat scenarios to identify and assess vulnerabilities.
  • Execute threat modeling for multiple applications, including those interacting with internal networks.
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification in Public Cloud environment concepts and advanced proficiency.
  • Foundational cybersecurity knowledge, including IAM, Authentication, OIDC, SAML.
  • Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions.
  • Strong experience developing and architecting cloud-native applications with AWS services.
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics AWS services (Redshift, Lake Formation) and SaaS Data Platform Technologies (Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Experience developing enterprise software and proficiency in multiple languages, preferably Python.
  • Ability to conceptualize, design, validate, and implement creative solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new architectures and designs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team to achieve common goals.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Cloud certifications, including AWS Developer Associate and AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Snowflake certifications.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML field trends.
