Our Global Clearing Operations team supports a wide range of services, including margin settlement, reconciliations, middle office, and client onboarding, across multiple markets and currencies.
Job Summary
As a Client Service Representative within the Cleared Margin Client Service Team in Prime Financial Services, you manage margin settlements for Futures & Options and OTC Cleared Products in the Equities Markets department. You will work as part of a global team based in Bangalore, Bournemouth, Chicago, and Singapore, handling both client service and operational functions. Your role is essential in mitigating counterparty risk and ensuring a controlled environment for CCP trading cleared activity.
Job Responsibilities
- Book client-agreed margin and respond to incoming margin calls by comparing requests to JP Morgans exposure and agreeing on asset movements.
- Follow up on counterparty failed settlements and investigate disputed margin requirements.
- Assess and authorize margin calls, settlements, and adjustments for both Futures & Options and OTC Cleared Products, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate margin requests against exposure and risk parameters, escalating discrepancies or concerns according to regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Ensure all margin approvals adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies, participating in periodic reviews and audits.
- Resolve incoming queries regarding client portfolios, including trade breaks, interest calculations, commissions, and eligibility.
- Escalate issues accurately and appropriately in line with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Demonstrate 12+ years of external client services experience or similar experience interacting with senior internal clients and building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Possess working knowledge of OTC derivative products, Futures and Options, or a similar background.
- Exhibit a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong numeracy skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders, delivering feedback and adhering to strict deadlines and procedures.
