Job Summary

As an Associate within the Sourcing & Procurement team, you will play a key role in leading and executing market-facing category strategies, sourcing plans, and supplier spend management initiatives within assigned categories. You will manage all aspects of material sourcing events, from collaborating with stakeholders to defining requirements, to conducting supplier due diligence and negotiating commercial terms. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing cost and spend data to identify savings opportunities, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and supporting the contract life cycle process. By partnering with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise in procurement and supplier management, you will help drive value, efficiency, and innovation across the organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and execute market-facing category strategies, sourcing plans, and supplier spend management initiatives within assigned categories.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost and spend analyses to identify savings opportunities and drive cost reduction through RFx processes.
  • Manage all aspects of material sourcing events, including collaborating with LOB clients and stakeholders to define requirements.
  • Identify and qualify suppliers, and oversee supplier management activities such as spend tracking, segmentation, referencing, capability analysis, and rationalization.
  • Design and execute competitive sourcing processes, complete supplier due diligence, and evaluate supplier offerings to present options aligned with business needs.
  • Lead commercial term negotiations, including P&L considerations and operationalizing early pay discount (EPD) contracts.
  • Manage the contract life cycle process, including MSA and SLA terms, gap analysis, and providing recommendations with support from legal counsel.
  • Partner and collaborate with regional sourcing colleagues, local and internal stakeholders, and in-house Legal, Risk, and Finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedural guidelines, and use of appropriate purchasing channels.
  • Identify new service opportunities to address or anticipate LOB needs and demonstrate subject matter expertise in the category and related processes.
  • Conduct book of work reviews with stakeholders, keep projects up to date, and support organizational goals and objectives.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated experience in Information Services, such as Consumer and Business Bureau data services, Tri-Merge, and Risk & Fraud Solutions, or related sourcing.
  • Strong sourcing and process knowledge with 6 + years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with all levels of management across regions.
  • Strong client management skills.
  • Advanced financial analysis abilities.
  • Commitment to policy and procedural compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in supplier evaluation and onboarding, with proactive engagement with stakeholders to identify and develop value-added opportunities and comprehensive sourcing strategies.
