Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Partnership:
    • Serve as a strategic communications partner to one or more business areas, providing advisory support in creating and implementing robust, measurable internal and external communication strategies.
    • Manage priority stakeholder relationships to complement business priorities with impactful storytelling.
    • Interweave local, country-wide and global priorities to maintain balance and effective air traffic control of communication interventions in a highly matrixed environment.
    • Lead end-to-end project management of communications initiatives and internal events including town halls, leadership forums, recognition programs and employee engagement ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment and quality execution across all workstreams.
    • Work closely with domestic, regional and global communication colleagues to share best practices and align on business and functional mandates.
  • Content Development and Editorial Management:
    • Develop an understanding of cross-functional subject matter and create content that connects the dots for a young and diverse audience.
    • Write simple, relevant and impactful content to support stakeholder priorities and drive people engagement.
    • Curate corporate and people stories for internal and external storytelling to build, manage and deliver a robust editorial calendar.
    • Demonstrate hands-on writing across diverse styles and mediums long form, short form, infographics, video, blogs, thought leadership op-eds, case studies, features, event reportage, executive scripts and creative campaign copy.
  • Channel Management and Delivery:
    • Shoulder everyday responsibility for managing identified channels including broadcast email, newsletters, intranet and digital signage.
    • Build and engage a strong delivery network across locations to implement communication initiatives and source stories from the ground.
    • Bring innovation to communications through delivery, process, channels and automation.
  • Measurement, Governance, and Process:
    • Analyze and report on content and channel efficacy to develop and revise communication strategy.
    • Govern and ensure internal communications consistency and effectiveness by creating content-related processes and guidelines for the function.
    • Apply responsible use of AI tools to enhance content quality as well as measure and improve communications through available metrics and audience insights.
    • Roll up sleeves and proactively support the team to deliver a shared agenda.

 

Core Competencies

  • 8 10 years of work experience, with at least four years of hands-on experience in managing internal communications.
  • Communications experience in an IT/GCC/ BFSI multinational firm preferred.
  • Strong writing and editorial rigor are essential; where used, AI tools should be applied responsibly to enhance clarity, consistency and measurement, with appropriate human review and accountability.
  • Competence in writing and editing in AP Style will be an added advantage.
  • Recent experience managing or working on SharePoint CMS will be a bonus.
  • Exceptional written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Can-do, entrepreneurial attitude that supports an aggressive functional roadmap.
  • Strong team player who celebrates collective success.
  • Ability to work independently as well as partner with and manage multiple stakeholders.
