Global Insurance Solutions  US Sales Support Analyst  Job Description 

 

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has served insurers for more than 40 years. Currently, its Global Insurance Solutions (GIS) group partners with many of the largest insurers globally to solve their most complex investment challenges by designing customized solutions spanning across asset classes to address their unique needs. GIS has seen considerable growth and now has over $240Bn in general account assets under management.

 

GIS is comprised of investment professionals and dedicated industry experts covering a broad spectrum of asset classes suitable for insurers. This group of over 70 members works with clients in more than 20 countries across Europe, Asia, North and South America This position will report to one of the US Client Advisors and will be responsible for supporting all sales activities of our five US Client Advisors in partnership with two other sales support analysts.

 

This position is applicable to individuals who have earned a Bachelors degree at an accredited school.  

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

 

 

Partner with client advisors, senior team members, Institutional Strategy & Analytics and portfolio management teams to help deliver the full value of the firm to clients and prospects  

 

Create and manage presentations for sales pitches across JPMAM's investment platforms

 

Coordinate the Request for Proposal process by working with a variety of teams to ensure that each response represents the full depth and breadth of our investment and solutions platforms

 

Build and maintain internal resources across GIS, leveraging shared resources and communicating sales and marketing intelligence to clients 

 

Research trends within the insurance universe; staying well-informed of industry developments, regulatory changes and the implications for clients portfolios 

 

Partner with marketing teams on new product launch initiatives, client events and market research communications 

 

Respond to client requests and manage client communications efforts 

 

Work closely with the Institutional Strategy & Analytics team to support their timely response to client requests and build bespoke presentations to address the complex issues facing clients and prospects

 

Analyze and summarize findings from large and complex data

Qualification 

 

Candidate must hold a Bachelors degree 

 Minimum 1-2 years in financial services, ideally in a sales support function

 

A general passion / interest in asset management, investing, and/or macroeconomics 

 

Financial analysis, project management, other quantitative analysis 

 

Expertise with Excel 

 

Expertise in PowerPoint: creating and editing presentations for internal and external meetings 

 

Strong analytical skills 

 

Strong communication skills (written and oral) 

 

Strong desire to learn and add value

 

Demonstrate ability to multi-task and re-prioritize quickly

 

Will need to obtain their SIE, and Series 3, 7, and 63 licenses 

 

Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
