VP, Software Developer - Treasury Technology
Job Description
You will work as part of the Treasury Technology team at Jefferies. The team provides solutions and support for cash and liquidity management. Covering FX, Fixed Income and Equities, including financing (Repo and Stock Lending), we are looking for a strong all round senior developer who will work across the treasury technology stack to design, build, and maintain core treasury systems. The role demands deep, practical expertise in .NET development, SQL Server, and integration with treasury platforms, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Architecture
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of treasury systems using .NET (Core & Framework).
• Architect solutions integrating with key Treasury platforms for trade capture, settlements, and risk reporting.
• Deliver APIs and middleware for real-time data exchange across systems.
• Conduct code reviews and implement automated testing frameworks.
2. Database Design & Management
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases supporting high-volume transactional data.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, views, and ETL processes for treasury data.
• Implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and data integrity controls.
3. Treasury System Integration
• Work closely with Treasury Operations to understand trade lifecycle processes (FX, MM, derivatives, collateral).
• Build interfaces for trade feeds, cash flow forecasting, and position reporting.
4. Project & Stakeholder Management
• Own delivery of key treasury technology projects from inception to production.
• Collaborate with business analysts, treasury, and risk teams to capture and refine requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Expert-level SQL Server knowledge including performance tuning, query optimization, indexing.
• Understanding of financial instruments (FX, MM, swaps, repos) and trade lifecycle.
Leadership & Communication
• Skilled in translating treasury business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing suites.
Other useful Skills & Experience:
• Python
• Angular / Typescript / JavaScript
• Snowflake (nice to have)
• Power BI (nice to have)
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $150,000 - $200,000.
