Vice President Relationship Manager, Commodities, Food & Agriculture (CF&A)

Role summary
As a Vice President, Relationship Manager in CF&A, you will originate, structure, and execute financing solutions for clients in the commodities, food, and agriculture sectors. Youll act as the key connection between clients and INGs internal teams, ensuring smooth execution, strong risk discipline, and longterm client partnerships. The role is based in ING Shanghai Branch and is part of the wider CF&A North Asia franchise.
About the team
Youll join a specialised CF&A team with deep sector expertise and a strong regional network. We work closely with product partners, risk, operations, and coverage colleagues across Asia and globally. Collaboration, ownership, and sound judgement are central to how we work and how we grow our franchise.
What youll do
- Develop and maintain senior relationships with a portfolio of CF&A clients
- Originate, structure, and oversee the execution of commodity finance transactions
- Partner with product specialists to increase wallet share and crosssell solutions
- Act as a sector expert, working closely with Risk and internal stakeholders
- Prepare highquality credit proposals, client reviews, and due diligence materials
- Contribute to achieving CF&A North Asias commercial and strategic objectives
What you bring
- 810 years experience in commodity finance or corporate banking, including client coverage
- Strong understanding of commodities, trade finance, and credit fundamentals
- Solid knowledge of banking products and regulatory requirements
- A proactive, solutiondriven mindset with strong ownership
- Ability to collaborate across teams and functions
- Clear communication and writing skills in English and Chinese
