Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Trade Finance Services Expert (TFS Expert) to join our WB CSD Lending and Ops Team of BW CSD

The responsibility of this team is the management of Trade Finance Services Products, Bank Guarantees and SBLCs, and our way of working is focused on the comprehensive process ( E2E process ) with close relationship with Corporate Clients and Clients based on ING Network.

Your key responsibilities:

As a TFS Expert you will:

• Positively contribute to Growth of Business via support to TFS business.
• Delivery of Bank Guarantees, - Drafting, reviewing and analyzing guarantee and SBLCs wordings issue,  amend and renewals of domestic and cross-border guarantee/SBLCs, , contact with customer, handling commissions.
• With each issuance or amendment, you will be responsible to check that it meets the approved conditions by risk and the parameters set in the guarantee contract.
• To structure and discuss the counter guarantee when the issuance in a different country than Spain and Portugal will be made by a third bank.
• Monitoring of the portfolio of guarantees.
• Screening and checks for compliance purposes and related reports
• Booking into local core banking systems and reconciliation support
• Acting as customer contact point and handling customer requests.
• Able to structure and advise on complex Trade related transactions.
• Brings ideas on how to improve and refine the Trade Finance processes.
• Keeps up to date with industry developments relating to Trade Finance business.
• Provide support/expertise to areas of business by taking the lead and being responsible such as but not limited to organizational/operational/process management tasks.
• Guided participation in projects (process- and system improvement, training, and engagement activities).
• Back ground in other Trade Finance products like Export and Import Documentary Credits or Collections will be considered
• Ad hoc testing of trade finance system applications as per group requirements at any given time
• To be able to work and be exposed to a complex, dynamic and international financial environment with a close relation to the day-to-day Trade Finance business

What are we looking for?

• Wholesale Banking / TFS experience (at least 2-3 years in a similar role and  with knowledge in URDGs 758 and ISP 98.
• Passion to build and manage client relationships.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written (additional language is a bonus, but not required)
• Possess drive with a can do attitude.
• Team player / ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
• Consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances and an ability to prioritize.
• Focus on delivery on time with attention to detail.
• Recognize important information, ability to research and make connections.

Estamos buscando a una persona con talento y entusiasmo para el puesto de Trade Finance Services Expert (TFS Expert) para unirse a nuestro WB CSD Lending and Ops Team of BW CSD.

Tus responsabilidades claves:

Como TFS Expert t:

• Contribuirs positivamente al crecimiento del negocio a travs del soporte al negocio de TFS.
• Te encargars de la entrega de Bank Guarantees: redaccin, revisin y anlisis de wording de garantas y SBLCs, emisin, modificacin y renovaciones de garantas/SBLCs domsticas y cross-border, contacto con la clientela y gestin de comisiones.
• Con cada emisin o enmienda, sers responsable de comprobar que cumple las condiciones aprobadas por Riesgos y los parmetros establecidos en el contrato de la garanta.
• Estructurars y discutirs la counter guarantee cuando la emisin en un pas diferente de Espaa y Portugal sea realizada por un tercer banco.
• Monitorizars la cartera de garantas.
• Realizars screening y comprobaciones para finalidades de compliance y los informes relacionados.
• Registrars operaciones en los sistemas core banking locales y dars apoyo en reconciliaciones.
• Actuars como punto de contacto con la clientela y gestionars sus solicitudes.
• Sers capaz de estructurar y asesorar en transacciones complejas relacionadas con Trade.
• Aportars ideas sobre cmo mejorar y perfeccionar los procesos de Trade Finance.
• Te mantendrs al da de los desarrollos del sector relacionados con el negocio de Trade Finance.
• Proporcionars apoyo/expertise a reas del negocio liderando y siendo responsable, entre otras, de tareas organizativas/operacionales/de gestin de procesos.
• Participars de forma guiada en proyectos (mejora de procesos y sistemas, formacin y actividades de engagement).
• Se valorar experiencia en otros productos de Trade Finance como Export and Import Documentary Credits o Collections.
• Realizars ad hoc testing de aplicaciones de sistemas de trade finance segn requerimientos del grupo cuando se solicite.
• Trabajars y estars expuesta/o a un entorno financiero complejo, dinmico e internacional, con relacin estrecha con el da a da del negocio de Trade Finance.

Qu estamos buscando?

• Experiencia en Wholesale Banking / TFS (al menos 2-3 aos en un rol similar y con conocimiento de URDGs 758 e ISP 98).
• Pasin por construir y gestionar relaciones con clientes.
• Habilidades slidas de organizacin, planificacin y gestin del tiempo, as como habilidades analticas y de resolucin de problemas.
• Dominio del espaol y del ingls, tanto verbal como escrito (un idioma adicional es un plus, no un requisito).
• Actitud proactiva y orientacin al can do.
• Capacidad para trabajar eficazmente en un entorno de equipo diverso.
• Capacidad de lograr resultados incluso en circunstancias difciles y de priorizar adecuadamente.
