Full Job Description
FXMM Senior Analyst
As an FXMM Senior Processor, you will be responsible for the correct, complete, and timely processing and administration of the confirmations and settlements of foreign exchange, and money market products.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and process new, amended, and cancelled trades
- Matching of FX, MM and NDF confirmations
- Investigate unmatched confirmations and monitor stuck trades
- Affirm and confirm trade details with clients
- Raise and resolve trade and settlement discrepancies
- Monitor the Confirmation Platforms and Back-office system
- Work closely with Front Office/Sales, ING Branches, FXMM Amsterdam & other teams; Data Management, Post Settlement and Support team to ensure smooth processing of trades.
- Monitor and process control queue
- Check end of day reports and tasks logs
- Point of contact for escalation and issues
- Create reports for regulatory reporting and management information purposes
- Review processing procedures and propose improvements to increase efficiency
- Implement and align system and process changes as required by new regulations, projects, or policies from head office
Required Skills/Experience
- 3-5 years relevant work experience within FM Operations
- Proven in-depth knowledge/experience of FM Products particularly FXMM & NDF Confirmations and Settlements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proven in-depth experience with SWIFT, Calypso, TRAM Matching, Payplus and MUREX
- Understanding of Risk (Market, Credit, Counterparty, Operational)
- High level of attention to detail and review of work before sending to others
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to resolve matters quickly, thoroughly, and equitably
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to assess and prioritize workload to balance competing demands, deadlines, as well as complete day-to-day tasks in a timely fashion
