ING Wholesale Banking Germany is seeking an intern to support debt and capital advisory activities. You will learn to prepare complex financial models for cash flow analyses and acquisitions, and diligently prepare pitch books for integrated debt and equity financing solutions in refinancings, bond offerings, M&A and IPOs. You will assist with financial analyses, contribute to credit applications, help in the execution of debt advisory mandates, and conduct industry, external rating, and peer group analyses under supervision. You will work closely with colleagues from Corporate Clients, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Syndication and other departments, with a start date in September 2026 for a six-month internship.

- You will learn and support us by preparing complex financial models for cash flow analyses and acquisitions. You diligently prepare pitch books regarding integrated debt and equity financing solutions in the context of refinancings, bond offerings, M&A and IPO's.
- Every day your expertise grows, always with someone to ask by your side. To use what youve already learned and to learn more, you further assist your team in financial analyses, contribute to credit applications, help in the execution of debt advisory mandates and eagle-eyed support us in industry, external rating, and peer group analyses.
- Your holistic insight into our corporation is completed with your close cooperation with colleagues from other departments, such as Corporate Clients, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Syndication, and more.
Your Profile
- Enrolled in a Masters degree in economics, finance, business or similar or in a gap year between Bachelors and Masters degree programmes
- First working experience in corporate finance, banking, or accounting is a plus
- Great analytical skills and very detail oriented
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, fluency in German is advantageous
- Willingness to contribute to shaping the world of tomorrow
- Strong preference for a 6-month internship starting in September 2026; however, shorter terms will also be considered (please specify starting date and preferred availability in your application)
