Function Overview
Financial Markets (FM) is the Banks gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of INGs clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in the markets we operate, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products. Our product suite includes interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities, equity, inflation and credit.
The Corporates Sales team cover corporate clients across various segments and sectors.Our support to our clients goes beyond merely providing products - we are also a trusted advisory partner, offering thought leadership, analytical services and solutions to guide clients in various areas.
What would you be doing?
You will work in the dealing room of ING in Singapore, as part of the Sales team and experience financial markets up close, learning new products and skill sets
Work with different teams internally and participate in preparation of pitches and contribute to various strategic projects
Deep dive into analytics and help sales prepare for client visits and statistics report
Help support the sales team in executing existing sales/ reporting processes and identify improvement areas while proposing solutions if applicable
What do we ask of you? (Skills & Specifications)
Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills, demonstrated with good grades in relevant courses
Team player with good communication and collaborative skills
Ability to work independently on various projects at the same time and prioritise resources accordingly
Bring fresh ideas to the team and embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment
Knowledge of financial market products (swap, forwards, options in various asset classes) and international finance (debt capital market, M&A) will a plus
