Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Team.

The responsibility of this team is to support ING Bank in Spain in being compliant with applicable laws, regulations and reasonable expectations of society at large as well as being the preferred bank for its clients by ensuring that it does the right things, the right way with integrity. This entails that every employee within ING Bank respect the letter and spirit of applicable laws, regulations, as well as policies, standards and the internal values and behaviors defined by the Orange Code and our way of working is with key internal stakeholders and offer an environment which provides a global overview on how the regulatory requirements and controls are embedded within the business, and provides an opportunity to support relationships with external stakeholders, regulators and supervisory institutions as well as the global functions at Head office.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Complience Specialist you will: 

Positively contribute to:

• Support the analysis of current and future regulations and their implementation.
• The monitoring of compliance with regulations and applicable policies and procedures (local and Group) and the reporting of incidents in the area of Financial Economic Crime.
• Optimization of the control environment in collaboration with the MLRO and the Head of Compliance, including training and awareness initiatives in this field.
• Execution of 2nd line of defense controls on processes and procedures carried out by the first line of defense in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Monitoring of initiatives already implemented.
• Participating in the preparation of Compliance Manuals: summary of relevant and applicable laws and regulations; as well as action policies and procedures and their periodic review.
• Participation in the continuous training program on this subject for all members of the Organization.
• Carrying out special analyses of potentially suspicious operations for submission to the supervisor.
• Analysis and implementation of local regulation.
• Participate with Global FCC Community and where applicable part of global working teams.

• Education in Compliance or Risk and Control Management, being required a bachelors degree in law or Double Degree in Law/ADE, Economics
• Knowledge in Products, processes and regulation related to AML/TF.
• knowledge of banks processes & products.
• Knowledge and experience regarding compliance risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of applicable regulation focused on AML/CFT.
• Team playing, being capable of working in international teams, but also independently if needed.
• Written and spoken English.
• We are looking for a resolute, proactive, honest person with strong communication skills.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Compliance Specialist contribuirs positivamente a:
Apoyar el anlisis de la normativa actual y futura y su implementacin.
La monitorizacin del cumplimiento de la normativa y de las polticas y procedimientos aplicables (locales y de Grupo), y el reporte de incidencias en el mbito del Financial Economic Crime.
La optimizacin del entorno de control en colaboracin con la persona MLRO y la Head of Compliance, incluyendo iniciativas de formacin y concienciacin en este mbito.
La ejecucin de controles de 2nd line of defense sobre los procesos y procedimientos llevados a cabo por la first line of defense en la lucha contra el blanqueo de capitales y la financiacin del terrorismo.
La monitorizacin de las iniciativas ya implementadas.
La participacin en la preparacin de los Compliance Manuals: resumen de las leyes y normativas relevantes y aplicables, as como de las polticas y procedimientos de actuacin y su revisin peridica.
La participacin en el programa de formacin continua sobre esta materia para todas las personas miembros de la Organizacin.
La realizacin de anlisis especiales de operaciones potencialmente sospechosas para su remisin a la persona supervisora.
El anlisis y la implementacin de la normativa local.
La participacin con la Global FCC Community y, cuando sea aplicable, formando parte de equipos de trabajo globales.

Qu estamos buscando?

• Formacin en Compliance o Risk and Control Management, siendo necesario un grado en Derecho o Doble Grado en Derecho/ADE, Economa.
• Conocimiento en Productos, procesos y normativa relacionados con AML/TF.
• Conocimiento de los procesos y productos bancarios.
• Conocimiento y experiencia en metodologas de evaluacin de riesgos de compliance.
• Conocimiento de la normativa aplicable enfocada en AML/CFT.
• Capacidad de trabajo en equipo, siendo capaz de trabajar en equipos internacionales, pero tambin de manera independiente cuando sea necesario.
• Ingls escrito y hablado.
• Buscamos una persona resolutiva, proactiva y honesta, con slidas habilidades de comunicacin.
