  • End-to-end management of daily banking products with all aspects (incl. definition of commercial strategy, value proposition design, delivery roadmap, P&L and risk management)
  • Overall orchestration of mass retail segment (client ownership, acquisition, onboarding, retention, churn management, 3rd party services)
  • Leading ING retail digitalization roadmap for delivering a superior digital/mobile customer experience.

About the Role

Our Business Development Manager- E commerce Partnerships (B2C) is responsible for helping us expand the merchant network and partnerships behind our daily banking value propositions.

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow our ecommerce ecosystem by identifying, engaging, and onboarding companies that sell directly to individual consumers. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong partnerships with brands and merchants, guiding them onto our proprietary ecommerce platform, and driving mutual growth through long-term, valuebased relationships.

You will act as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them understand how our platform can expand their reach, improve conversion, and unlock new revenue streams.

What you will be doing

  • Partner Acquisition & Growth
  • Identify, prospect, and engage B2C companies and brands that align with our platforms value proposition.
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle: outreach, discovery, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Develop compelling business cases that clearly articulate the commercial and strategic value of joining our ecommerce platform.
  • Platform Enablement
  • Guide partners through onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration into our ecommerce ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure partners are set up for success.
  • Educate partners on platform features, tools, and best practices to maximize sales performance.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations.
  • You collaborate with ING Wholesale Banking and SME teams to ensure a seamless experience for merchants.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing questions, identifying growth opportunities, and resolving issues.
  • Proactively identify ways to increase partner performance, engagement, and retention on the platform.
  • Commercial Strategy & Performance
  • Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements in line with company objectives.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators such as partner acquisition, activation, revenue growth, and churn.
