Full Job Description

IMC is seeking a Trade Operations Specialist to join the Operations / Mid Office team. The Operations Specialist will identify, investigate, and reconcile trade, position, and cash exceptions by working directly with trading desks and clearing firms / clearing corporation.

Your Core Responsibilities: 

  • Daily EOD processing
  • Managing daily exchange pay-in & pay-out obligations
  • Upload / providing reports for compliance purposes
  • Providing reports to Traders & Mid office
  • Operation of DP pool account and beneficiary account for Pay-in and SLBM obligations
  • Hands-on Experience on Clearing corporation (NCL & MCXCCL) portals for collateral management
  • Interaction with vendor for updation in software as per latest SEBI regulations
  • Ensuring timely and regular reporting to exchanges / clearing corporations and other regulators
  • Own the daily P&L substantiation, reconciliation and daily management re porting
  • Reconcile trading fees with exchanges
  • Ensure all current Middle Office operations processes and procedures are the most efficient and effective via continuous review
  • Collaborate with our Back Office / Business Intelligence IT team on specifications and improvements to middle office applications and tools
  • Provide operational support to trading desks
  • Perform ad hoc portfolio analysis and project work as needed
  • Arrange cash transfers to meet margin call and funding requirements
  • Work with the finance team on month end accounting booking.

Your Skills and Experience: 

  • Academic degree in Finance, Technology and Data Analytics is preferred
  • 4 years of working experience in a similar role
  • Experience with trade settlement with clearing firms – must
  • Ability to adapt and embrace technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and a habit of improving processes
  • Ability to combine strong tactical and analytical thinking skills
  • Tenacious, dynamic and curious personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, proactive with a hands on mentality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
