IMC is hiring an on-site IT Operations Engineer to provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for traders, engineers and other teams, removing blockers by implementing, supporting and maintaining servers, networks and user devices. You will manage physical and virtual desktop environments, infrastructure components (O365, AD, Email, MDM, A/V systems), deploy enterprise updates for Windows and macOS, and handle hardware/software installations and troubleshooting. The role requires hands-on involvement in desk moves and room setups and expects autonomous problem-solving, documentation and escalation where needed. This position is based in Aarhus and requires full-time on-site presence and at least two years' relevant experience.

Full Job Description
Your Core Responsibilities
Your support is key to the success of our traders, engineers, and all other teams. You remove blockades for everyone by implementing, supporting, and maintaining servers, networks, and all user devices. You will act as the first, second, and third level of support. To learn and grow, you need to be on top of your game and willing to take responsibility, acting autonomously to provide an IT environment that resolves issues and is ready to scale.
- Fulltime on-site 1st, 2nd and 3rd line Support to our users
- Support physical and virtual desktop environment, infrastructure components (like O365, AD, Email, MDM, Audio and Visual Communication systems)
- Deploy enterprise updates for Windows and macOS, including applications such as Adobe, Java and other desktop applications
- Install, modify and repair computer hardware and software (including servers, desktop and printers)
- Troubleshoot, escalate and document computer network issues
- Assist in-house Facilities Management with the execution of desk and physical equipment moves
- Everything necessary to keep us moving! This will teach you a lot of new things!
Your Skills and Experience
- You have a strong drive to learn and develop yourself, both technically as well as in areas of personal development (at IMC we are committed to helping with that!).
- You are curious and like to understand why things work the way they do, how you can improve and automate tasks and how you can leverage technology to help us become more robust as a company!
- You are a self-starter that works with a sense of urgency and priorities based on business needs
- A degree (BSc) ideally in ICT related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar environment role and fast-paced environment
- Confident in written and spoken English communication (we have +40 nationalities here!)
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems. Linux experience would be considered a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
- Willing to get involved in physical tasks such as desk moves and room setups.
- You are willing to come to the office full-time as our IT Ops team is based 'on-site'. You will be part of our regional Europe team and first point of contact in Aarhus
