Program Overview
Our 10-week Global Broking Summer Internship offers a dynamic immersion into the world of institutional trading and operations. Interns gain hands-on exposure to the full trade lifecyclefrom client onboarding to trade capture to settlementwhile rotating across desks and asset classes within the worlds largest interdealer broker.
Youll be part of a cohort of 1015 Global Broking interns, joining a broader group of interns from across the organization. This structure fosters cross-functional learning and creates opportunities to build lasting professional relationships.
Program dates are Tuesday, June 2 Friday, August 7, 2026.
Your Experience
As a Global Broking intern, your summer will be shaped by real exposure to the business. Youll spend your days embedded on active trading desks, learning directly from brokers and product specialists across a range of asset classes, including Fixed Income, FX & MM, Equities, Derivatives, and Emerging Markets.
Your day-to-day will include:
Shadowing brokers during live trade execution; observing institutional price discovery in interdealer markets.
Working on a summer-long capstone project in a small group, guided by a senior mentor, culminating in a final presentation to our C-Suite and other stakeholders.
Practicing on student Bloomberg terminals to build fluency with market data and trading tools.
Contributing to desk-specific mini-projects that reflect each products unique focus.
Collaborating with peers on group initiatives and intern-led tasks.
Exploring other functions across the firmfrom operations and compliance to post-trade services.
Participating in regular check-ins with the program coordinator for feedback and guidance.
Culture, Programming & Mentorship
We aim to create a summer experience thats both professionally enriching and genuinely fun. Beyond the desk, interns participate in a minimum of three structured sessions per week, including:

Social and Networking Activities
Each intern is matched with a dedicated one-on-one mentor to support their development throughout the program. These mentors offer career advice, help navigate the firm, and serve as sounding boards for questions and ideas.
Capstone groups are also paired with senior leaders who provide strategic guidance throughout the project.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered, candidates must
Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and pursuing a bachelors degree
Have an anticipated graduation date between October 2026 and June 2027
Be authorized to work in the United States (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
Relocate at own cost if applicable; TP ICAP does not provide relocation or housing assistance
Ideal candidates are
Curious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in financial markets
Adaptable and composed under pressure, with a willingness to take initiative
Strong communicators who can listen, ask questions, and build relationships
Collaborative team players who thrive in fast-paced environments
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
Comfortable with light technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
