Full Job Description

The Wealth Specialist support the advisory and wealth management strategy for HSBCs WP and PE segment in the Northwest region of Mexico. This role is designed for a technically strong investment professional with a clear service orientation, focused on supporting Relationship Managers with specialized knowledge, delivering relevant investment solutions, and strengthening client relationships through consistent and high-quality advisory.

Requirements

  • Experience in the financial industry covering a wide range of products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, discretionary mandates, and tailor-made portfolios.
  • Solid market and economic understanding and their implications to client portfolios
  • Knowledge of local regulation and investment regime
  • AMIB Figura 3 certification required; CFA candidacy or progress desirable
  • Bachelors degree in economics, finance, or related field
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable training and explaining complex products to sales teams
  • Ability to manage relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Experience dealing with wealth management clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and act assertively across different organizational levels.

Main Responsabilities

  • Support Relationship Managers in delivering specialized investment advisory to wealth management clients, helping identify needs and presenting relevant solutions across the full product shelf.
  • Partner with private bankers to deepen existing client relationships and contribute to attracting new clients through a consistent and well-rounded advisory approach.
  • Participate in portfolio reviews with RMs, explaining product performance, key variables, and the impact of market and regulatory changes on client holdings.
  • Proactively approach Relationship Managers to help make client portfolios more profitable through long-term strategies focused on maximizing returns.
  • Deliver training and coaching sessions to Relationship Managers on investment products, market dynamics, and portfolio strategy.
  • Keep the sales force updated on HSBCs investment strategy, economic outlook, and key product developments through daily insights and weekly team meetings
  • Help improving HSBCs offering by maintaining constant knowledge of products and market tendencies, identifying ways to differentiate HSBCs advice from competitors.
  • Develop new ideas to define business opportunities using key products to differentiate traditional investment approaches
  • Coordinate with Wealth Insights and compliance teams to ensure client-facing materials meet regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate relevant market and credit events to clients through the RM network in a timely and effective manner.
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings and contribute market intelligence on economic outlook, markets, and financial products.
