In this role, you will support the Fraud Control and Credit Services third party relationship manager (CCR Program Manager) in all aspects of managing the suppliers that support the core FCS function. This includes the 3 credit reporting bodies and all of Collections related suppliers, inclusive of the debt recovery agencies.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Support the FCS vendor manager, understanding operational services and supplier performance activities across all FCS suppliers, and working with the vendor managers ensuring all risks are controlled and contractual obligations met.
  • Responsible for defining and maintaining RCA’s, ensuring appropriate governance and oversight in place with appropriate MI produced to allow effective management of supplier performance.
  • Provide effective vendor risk and supplier management support to ensure that HSBC meets its operational, business and/or regulatory requirements in order to mitigate any regulatory breaches, civil or monetary penalties and to avoid any damage to shareholder value and reputation/brand image.
  • Support business performance through effective management of vendor Service Level Agreements and operational practices.
  • Responsible for maintaining high levels of data quality in line with industry standards in the maintenance and submission of monthly comprehensive credit reporting data to the bureaus
  • Ensure that a consistent, professional & structured approach is adopted in managing bureau projects within the department to ensure timely delivery of key requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field.
  • Relevant experience in operational risk and controls, preferably gained through front line and risk roles
  • A good understanding of the Group’s Operational Risk Framework
  • Proven problem-solving skills with ability to consider alternative and lateral solutions
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
