We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, Governance Office.
Principal responsibilities
This key role will support to establish and execute a governance framework that will orchestrate resources and expertise across markets that aligns with business strategy.
The role is responsible for:
Designing and implementing robust, risk-based governance frameworks for corridors, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations across jurisdictions
Managing key stakeholder meetings, including Risk Stewards Forum and risk calibration meetings
Developing and maintaining manuals and risk assessment tools for cross-border risk management.
Ensuring tracking and reporting cross-border MI dashboard into governance forums
Maintaining oversight on key risks impacting business strategy with periodic reviews on external trends and internal control environment
Effective engagement with internal stakeholders across businesses, risk stewards and across markets.
Requirements
Solid experience, exposure and understanding of banking and financial services industry, regulatory and economic environment across mainland China and Hong Kong, with experience in navigating complex compliance environments
Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environment
Strong business acumen, risk awareness and critical thinking, able to make good judgement that balance customer centricity, business and risk considerations
Self-motivated and proactive with excellent skills in navigating and influencing stakeholders at different levels
Strong project management skills and ability to drive results through others
Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
