Sales Services Associate

What you will do:
Youll support the Sales team by helping identify and progress sales opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the desk runs smoothly day-to-day. Youll also play an active role in sharing market intelligence across the HSBC network, while operating with a strong risk, conduct and control mindset to deliver fair outcomes for customers and protect HSBCs reputation.
In this role you will:
- Contribute to identifying sales opportunities and support the process from initial identification through to point of sale
- Help maintain and develop business relationships with clients/accounts in your assigned coverage area
- Support efficient marketing of products to the client base and contribute to achieving annual financial and qualitative objectives
- Share relevant market, customer and counterparty intelligence with colleagues across the HSBC network
- Support day-to-day desk operations, including owning administrative tasks and ensuring smooth execution of routine activities
- Embed strong risk, conduct and control standards, supporting fair customer outcomes, orderly markets, and adherence to financial crime prevention requirements (e.g., AML and sanctions)
You should apply if you have:
- A first significant exposure to sales support, client servicing, or a front-office/markets environment
- Strong client focus and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand and respond to specific customer needs
- Good understanding of risk, conduct and control expectations in a front-to-back environment (or a strong willingness to learn)
- Ability to work collaboratively, share intelligence, and operate effectively across a global network
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence handling administrative and operational tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Clear communication skills and a proactive, forward-looking mindset (including prioritising training and continuous improvement)
