We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide project management and consultancy services on project/ system implementation, process workflow design, and process re-engineering in Commercial Banking.
  • Actively monitor the project scope and resources to meet the project schedule and budget.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders including business users, operations, IT, audit, legal and compliance to ensure effective project governance.
  • Work with various CMB businesses/ functions on project prioritization to optimize resources usage, with the responsibility to oversee the overall budget management, resources allocation and prioritization amongst all projects.
  • Lead the project team in conducting comprehensive change impact and adoption assessments to ensure post-implementation business readiness.
  • Proactively manage all the potential risks, issues and dependencies on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required.
  • Keep abreast on latest technology/ best practices in banking industry and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement.
  • Foster a high engagement team to deliver good quality outputs which exceed user expectations.

Requirements

  • University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience, preferably with knowledge of business banking products and bank operations. Knowledge in lending/ payments/ wealth/ digital banking will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience as a project manager in medium-to-large scale projects will be a plus.
  • Ability to overcome challenges, create innovative solutions and work in an agile environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and create connection with others.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
