Job description
HSBC is seeking a Mortgage Associate in Glasgow for a full-time role in their Contact Centre. This position requires candidates who are passionate about customer service and willing to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide exceptional support throughout their mortgage journey.
As a Mortgage Associate, your primary responsibilities will include engaging with customers via telephone, understanding their unique mortgage requirements, and providing comprehensive support across various mortgage-related queries. You will be responsible for delivering operational key performance metrics and taking personal ownership of each customer interaction with efficiency, fairness, and positivity.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate effective problem-solving capabilities. While no formal qualifications are required, you should be driven, motivated to succeed, and capable of learning complex mortgage processes quickly. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build meaningful customer relationships are crucial for this role.
HSBC offers a competitive starting salary of £24,000, comprehensive mental, physical, and financial wellbeing benefits, and significant career progression opportunities within the Mortgages and broader HSBC business. The bank provides a supportive work environment with flexible working arrangements, on-site facilities, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, making this an attractive opportunity for professionals seeking growth in the financial services sector.
