We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Markets and Securities Services team.

Job Introduction

The role holder will be part of Middle Office which is a non-revenue generating team supporting activities such as data analytics, deal input (including new deals, post-trade events) and ancillary support activities.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Perform day to day transaction flow process for Forex and other kinds of deals at Global Markets
  • Input deals booked with clients and other counterparties
  • Answer transactions that are raised on bank systems for approvals with the required details
  • Perform day and end of day checks and reconciliation
  • Facilitate activities related to client onboarding – Evolve documentation, Hedging documentation
  • Generate MIS reports as required from time to time
  • Collate data and perform supports desk heads in analytics
  • Any other activities relevant to the above tasks
  • Sharing best practices and on-the-job training to wider team where required

Role Requirements / Education Qualifications / Certifications / Experience:

  • At a minimum the candidate should hold a graduation degree
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Efficient time management and ability to multi task work and priorities to meet defined deadlines.
  • Ability to build excellent rapport and working relationship with other departments and jurisdiction thus ensuring smooth operations.
  • Should have demonstrated behaviour in line with HSBC values throughout
  • Strong working knowledge on MS Office
  • Power BI skills, access macro skills preferred, ability to use basic coding to improve data processing
  • Familiarity with typical onboarding documents / regulations will be preferred
