Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, this team covers fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.

Report To: SVP Securities Services Business Management

The purpose of the role is to support the SSV COO office and the senior management team across a broad and varied remit, from strategic planning through to day-to-day business management activities, including but not limited to.

  1. Assisting with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area aims.
  2. Participate and support in business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning.
  3. Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback.
  4. Support the development and monitoring of internal governance activities.
  5. Investigating and seeking remedies for discrete issues which may be adversely affecting business unit performance.
  6. Evaluate and analyst management information relating to external service providers of their provision, monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honoured.

  1. Understanding of the Securities Services business and the changing regulatory and competitive landscape; even better if with Markets & Securities Services overall business understanding.
  2. Experience in change management and control roles.
  3. Good planning skills and keen sense of prioritisation.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate and work effectively with senior business leaders across business lines and geographies.
  5. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is a MUST.
  6. Strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence at all levels of the business.
  7. Strong problem solving and prioritization skills and be able to perform multitask under pressure with a keen eye for detail.
  8. Excellent team player with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  9. Ability to think and act independently, with a “Can do” attitude with a willingness to roll-up the sleeves in order to get things done.
