We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, General Insurance.

In this role you will:

  • Management of the relationship with EDA partners
  • Ensuring EDA partners meet their commitments under contracted SLAs
  • Ensuring requirements of the Insurance Partnerships TOM are met
  • Designing and implementing robust processes for monitoring operational performance
  • Identifying opportunities for service improvements
  • Ensuring complaint management processes are operating effectively
  • Working closely with other HSBC departments to provide effective support to EDA operations
  • Co-ordination of IT development efforts to support business initiatives and projects (incl. product launch)

To be successful you will need:

  • Educated to degree level in Business Administration, Operations, Information Technology or a related field
  • Experience of Operations, IT management, Service Quality management, Business Control and Continuous Improvement activities
  • Ability to form effective working relationships and influence at a senior management level in HSBC and third party organizations
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong financial and analytical skills to understand and use metrics to draw conclusions and drive management action
  • Capability to understand and interpret complex business requirements
  • Ability to budget, track and control project activity
  • Knowledge of the insurance business and regulatory environment
