We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, General Insurance.
In this role you will:
- Management of the relationship with EDA partners
- Ensuring EDA partners meet their commitments under contracted SLAs
- Ensuring requirements of the Insurance Partnerships TOM are met
- Designing and implementing robust processes for monitoring operational performance
- Identifying opportunities for service improvements
- Ensuring complaint management processes are operating effectively
- Working closely with other HSBC departments to provide effective support to EDA operations
- Co-ordination of IT development efforts to support business initiatives and projects (incl. product launch)
To be successful you will need:
- Educated to degree level in Business Administration, Operations, Information Technology or a related field
- Experience of Operations, IT management, Service Quality management, Business Control and Continuous Improvement activities
- Ability to form effective working relationships and influence at a senior management level in HSBC and third party organizations
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong financial and analytical skills to understand and use metrics to draw conclusions and drive management action
- Capability to understand and interpret complex business requirements
- Ability to budget, track and control project activity
- Knowledge of the insurance business and regulatory environment
