We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- Support the China CIO in the investment research of the China asset classes to generate investment ideas that can be fulfilled by the Bank’s product shelf
- Work with regional and China CIO team in developing China high conviction themes
- Maintain and regularly calibrate the China SAA (Strategic Asset Allocation) and TAA (Tactical Asset Allocation) models with the support of China CIO and global asset allocation team
- Produce regular investment insight contents as driven by business needs
- Support the China CIO in the onshore investment process, including the internal delivery of the house views and provide support for frontline fulfillment
- Attend online and offline customer events and engagements on behalf of China CIO team
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics or related majors from an esteemed China or overseas university
- No less than 10 years of dedicated investment research experience with a China focus, and good understanding into Chinese asset classes (eg. China equity)
- Excellent verbal communication and professional writing skills in both Chinese and English in the context of investment research
- Asset management, sell-side securities research, or wealth management experience would be desirable
- Excellent public presentation skills in both Chinese and English
- Professional qualifications such as CFA is a plus, but not mandatory
