Global Payment Solutions (GPS) is made up of almost 10,000 colleagues across 58 countries and territories. This business is uniquely positioned to help clients make payments across borders, currencies and regulations, quickly and efficiently with dedicated in-country and regional support. Our expertise in this area is repeatedly recognised by the industrys most prominent publications and associations with numerous global, regional, and country awards.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers with day-to-day client query management across GPS products and channels
  • Engage with clients to encourage self-service tools in HSBCnet and drive automation of activities
  • Support meeting preparation (agendas, minutes, action items) and follow-up with stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Payments, Compliance, Relationship Managers) to follow through on client requests and ensure completion
  • Contribute to streamlining and automation of processes followed by Client Service Team to create simplification
  • Maintain MIs while ensuring actions and timelines are followed through

Requirements

  • Following a degree or a Professional Qualification in Business/Finance/Accounting/IT/Data & Analytics or a related discipline
  • Fluent in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Penultimate year undergraduate from a reputable local or overseas university
  • Applicants pursuing professional or other qualifications must have completed at least one year of their course successfully
  • Fresh graduates with total work experience that is less than 12 months
  • Legally permitted to work in Sri Lanka
  • Be fluent in English and have strong communication skills
  • A strong customer-service mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines
