This role is under our Global Private Banking (GPB), Arab and Emirati Clients business and will be based in Abu Dhabi. The job holder will be responsible for contributing to the growth and expansion of the client base in the MENA region – with a focus on Abu Dhabi based clients. We are seeking a highly driven Private Banking Relationship Manager with a proven hunter mindset to originate, build and manage a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW), High Net worth (HNW) and family office clients. This role requires intensive and well-established networking skills with a deep understanding of the private banking sector focused on acquiring new-to-bank clients, developing long term trusted relationships and delivering holistic wealth solutions across investments, credit and advisory.

In this role, you will:

• Proactively originate and onboard UHNW, HNW and family office clients with a strong focus on New to bank acquisition and participating in the team’s organization and ensuring appropriate administrative support.
• Provide full-service banking and all transactions to ultra-high-net-worth individual clients, High Net worth individual clients and family offices through the marketing of all appropriate company services
• Grow revenue, increase AUM of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money (NNM), achieving growth by leveraging brand, channels and RM network
• Establish new relationships and grow a prtfolio to generate new AUM and Revenue
• Identify and deliver tailored wealth management solutions in collaboration with investment, lending and product specialists
• Deepen client relationships to increase wallet share and long term loyalty
• Co-operate with platform manager to clear pending items, improve quality and resolve problems
• Ensure client’s objectives are met through an appropriate selection of products within the client portfolio
• Ensure a best in class client experience with proactive engagement and responsiveness
• Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business.



To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Extensive experience in relationship management within the banking sector
• Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
• Strong Abu Dhabi network and hunter mentality with exceptional business development skills
• Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
• Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
• Strong understanding of financial markets and wealth products
• Strong customer service focus
• Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
• Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
• A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE)
