Were currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Analytics Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Commercial Banking Redress Analytics Team which is primarily focused on leveraging data analytics to provide high-quality insights and support for HBUK Redress. This role involves identifying customers impacted by banking errors or product issues, calculating refunds, and supporting the fulfilment of redress activities. Youll collaborate closely with stakeholders across various levels of the organization to ensure robust redress activities are effectively planned and actioned. Keen interest in machine learning is encouraged to drive innovative capabilities and solutions. Your collaboration skills and deep understanding of the banking industry will be essential as you work across complex remediation programs spanning multiple products. Additionally, youll mentor colleagues within the analytics team and support the adoption of advanced tools and technologies to align with the teams analytical goals and overarching strategy.

In this role youll:

  • Identify opportunities to prevent remediation, simplify operations, implement automation or improve efficiency
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders from across our business to ensure successful implementation of solutions
  • Utilise available tools and technologies to implement data-driven solutions
  • Manage a range of high-value and sensitive remediation projects
  • Develop and maintain robust, high-quality documentation for audit and knowledge capture
  • Act as the business contact for related projects and serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of high-quality strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Support the Head of Redress by helping shape the analytics pipeline

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong analytical reasoning skills to extract data insights, translating them into tangible business objectives
  • Technical skills with proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, SAS, Big Query, SQL and Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share complex information in a clear, concise, and accurate way
  • Strong stakeholder / relationship management skills with experience of collaborating with a variety of senior stakeholders
  • Project management experience within Data and Analytics
  • Broad based banking experience, financial services or similar
