We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

Principal responsibilities

• Participate in project workshop to generate testing approach and perform risk assessment.
• Coordinate with various participants and teams to prepare test cases, data set-ups and test environments, as well as manage the defect and define the process of path to live. Ensure the stories delivered meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget to an agreed level of quality.
• Attend every standup and other agile ceremonies.
• Participate in project meetings despite their nature and have to ensure that all the findings of the meetings are getting practically addressed in the project.
• Work closely with architecture team to deliver solutions that appropriately address business needs and timelines.
• Play a key role to contribute in designing, developing automated test cases during development process and make sure the test cases are incorporate into the daily build process.
• Familiar with Public Cloud security, monitoring and analytics tools.
• Abilities to evaluate future cloud application and make recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on public cloud platform. (Mainly on GCP / AliCloud).
• Capabilities to provide best practices guidance on the architectural design and development to the implementation team.
• Ability to work with different stakeholders from different locations (China, Hong Kong, UK).
• Provide guidance to Cloud DevOps engineers on the engineering approaches to implement solution.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

You must be competent and familiar with the following toolsets and technologies that the team use.

• 7+ years experiences in in IT development, testing, SME and support activities.
• A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills; excellent team player with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Experience of working in a DevOps focused environment and working in an Agile Team.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience on converting data and related techniques to acquire data needed to support testing, training, and other application development activities.
• Solid knowledge of external cloud providers such as Google Cloud, or Ali Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of architecture discipline and the ability put the governance into practice, knowledge of industry standard architecture frameworks would be an advantage.
