We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Associate Actuarial Director, Pricing.

In this role you will:

  • Advise stakeholders on all aspects of product pricing, profitability and actuarial risk.
  • Review pricing models with proper and appropriate controls in accordance with Group standards
  • Proactively involve and participate in new product developments workgroup and proactively provide comments and feedback whenever and wherever it is necessary
  • Provide advises to Head of Pricing and ORSO / Chief Product and Inforce Officer on overseeing and monitoring financial results
  • Review and monitor profitability information (eg. NB CSM, HKRBC demand, MCVNB and etc) as well as review policyholders non-guaranteed benefits (eg. DoD rate, dividend, terminal bonus, crediting rate and etc)
  • Conduct annual profitability review, in depth product review/analysis, fulfillment ratio disclosure and etc

To be successful you will need:

  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary from a recognized actuarial body
  • University graduate in Actuarial Studies or related discipline
  • Strong product and pricing knowledge in individual life insurance
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills for wide range of problems.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Prophet is preferable
