We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, GCIO Ops Manager- Value Stream Operations Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement, and run efficient global COO operational processes for the Enterprise Finance Value Stream CIO team, in alignment with other Finance Technology Value Streams.
  • Own Financial Management for the multi-year FRP (FTE and $), including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, cost control, and full cost recovery
  • Lead Workforce Management, including maintaining a rolling 3-year workforce plan aligned to Finance Technology and wider GCIO/location strategies
  • Execute workforce lifecycle activities (attract, retain, grow) in partnership with People and GCIO workforce pillar teams (e.g., hiring at scale, engagement, DE&I, upskilling).
  • Build and maintain fully costed headcount models and develop business cases for workforce initiatives (e.g., contractor replacement, orchestration efficiencies, GenAI impacts)
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely MI and reporting to senior leadership, ensuring transparency of the cost base and performance
  • Manage end-to-end Vendor/Third Party activities across deal initiation, contracting support, approvals (incl. TPS/TPEM), and post-execution benefit/financial oversight
  • Oversee Portfolio, Accountability, and Governancetrack programmes in Clarity, monitor milestones/risks, manage governance actions, and support CIO commitments and papers.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and tailor messages for senior audiences
  • Proven ability to create impactful presentations and executive updates
  • Track record of creating and leading high-performance global teams
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills, able to gain buy-in and drive end-state design through to execution
  • Experience operating effectively in a complex matrix environment
  • Deep financial and commercial awareness, with experience managing significant budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
  • Demonstrable experience in organisational transformation and project/portfolio management (including financial reporting and benefits tracking)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a data-driven approach and the ability to manage and mitigate operational risk.
