We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Process Improvement and Project.

In this role you will:

  • Serve as the key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Distribution Compensation & Operations, covering core workflows, business requirements, test validation, and system implementation.
  • Map and analyze current-state (As-Is) processes, and design future-state (To-Be) workflows to support target outcomes.
  • Provide clear guidance to Transformation Business Analysts, IT developers, and QA teams to confirm business rules, logic, and end-to-end process intent.
  • Review IT functional solutions to ensure full alignment with agreed business requirements and expected controls.
  • Define, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios to ensure robust coverage of intended business outcomes and key use cases.
  • Communicate system and process changes to business end-users ahead of implementation, including training materials (e.g., decks, user guides, and walkthroughs).
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes, workflows, and system usage based on delivery experience and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support on ad hoc tasks and initiatives as assigned

To be successful you will need:

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel (Pivot Tables, Formula), Word, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Experience in Distribution Compensation and Operations within the insurance industry would be a strong advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team; with effective written and verbal communication to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong business analysis capability to ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, able to evaluate information objectively, challenge assumptions, and make sound, data-driven recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting tight timelines.
  • Resourceful and self-directed, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when required.
